Spreading halal nutrition awareness among schoolchildren

AS PART of its commitment to halal awareness, Nestlé Malaysia joined hands with the Institute of Halal Research and Management (IHRAM) under Islamic Science University Malaysia (USIM) to organise a series of Halal@School sessions at three primary schools in Negri Sembilan, reaching out to 583 students.

The Halal@School sessions organised by IHRAM, include a Halal nutrition talk conducted by Nestlé Malaysia. Through the talks, pupils learn about identifying halal food and understanding the halal logo as well as product labelling.
