KUALA LUMPUR: Alternative routes for private vehicles and whether Grab e-hailing cars can be defined as public transport are among the issues being looked into before converting Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (TAR) into a pedestrian mall and public transport-only road from March 15, says Khalid Abdul Samad.

“We are in discussions with the Batu Road Retailers Association (Barra) and Masjid India Business Association (Miba) to fine-tune the concept,” said the Federal Territories Minister.
