Rebranding to boost image of Penang tourism

AIMING at charting greater heights and exploring new ventures, Penang’s tourism sector is now known as “Petach”.

State Tourism Development, Arts, Culture and Heritage committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin said the abbreviation of his portfolio – Penang Exco for Tourism Development, Arts, Culture and Heritage (Petach) – and new logo was to strengthen Penang’s tourism brand of arts, culture and heritage under one roof.
