AIMING at charting greater heights and exploring new ventures, Penang’s tourism sector is now known as ‘Petach’.

Launching a new logo, state Tourism Development, Arts, Culture and Heritage committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin said the abbreviation of his portfolio — Penang Exco for Tourism Development, Arts, Culture and Heritage (Petach), and new logo was to strengthen Penang’s tourism brand of arts, culture and heritage under one roof.
