MORE than 100 performers from the Lanzhou Song and Dance Theatre in China turned Dewan Sri Pinang into an arena of ‘war and romance’ when they played the Dream of Dunhuang ballet performance in Penang.

The two-hour grand performance was, however, not open to the public and was instead performed before a sponsored group of 2,000 selected students, old folk and orphans.
