KAJANG: Police and the Environment Department (DoE) will be investigating the toxic chemical spill in the Kampung Sungai Lalang industrial area here for sabotage, says Selangor Environment, Green Technology and Consumer Affairs committee chairman Hee Loy Sian.

Confirming that the area has already been cleared of the illegal toxic waste dump, Hee said Thursday (Feb 14) that the incident resulted in the authorities sealing off an 300 square metre area from the red zone, causing four nearby factories to shut down and forcing workers to temporarily vacate the area.
