THE grand Thnee Kong Seh (Jade Emperor God’s birthday) celebration at Chew Jetty in Penang kept growing that the long altar for the mass celebration stretched for 45m.

Divided into two sides, the altar was laden with offerings such as roast meat, ang koo (bean paste cake), mee koo (red tortoise bun), huat kuih (prosperity cake) and fruits on the altar.
