Work on long-awaited road to begin this year

SARIKEI: Construction work on the much awaited Jalan Sarikei-Tanjung Manis road is expected to start sometime this year, said Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.

Huang said this at a Chinese New Year gathering, drawing applause from the more than 5,000 people who were present at the event which included a wide variety of performances.
