MIRI: Sarawak’s efforts to develop tourism as the new number one engine of socio-economic growth here and in northern Sarawak is hampered by lack of direct international flights.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said tourism revenue could replace oil which was once considered “black gold”.
