IKEA may be opening its doors in Penang next month, but their iconic Swedish meatballs are already making their presence felt at several Chinese New Year open houses in Penang.

The dish became an instant hit when it made its ‘debut’ at Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng and Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (PCCC)’s joint Chinese New Year open house at Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Bayan Lepas on Tuesday.
