Check covered drains outside shops, councillor tells MPS

COUNCILLOR Mohd Kassim Packiry wants three departments in the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) to conduct ground inspections to ensure that public drains outside shops in commercial areas are not covered.

He said the drains need to be kept clean to prevent water backflow and flash floods.
