Focus on clean food premises

MELAKA: The cleanliness of food premises in the state is among the important factors in Melaka’s effort to boost the tourism sector in line with Visit Melaka Year (TMM) 2019, said state Health and Anti-Drugs Committee chairman Low Chee Leong.

He said therefore the state government hoped food traders in Melaka would place emphasis on cleanliness when preparing food and drinks at all times to prevent incidents of food poisoning which could affect the image of the state.
