‘Cars not the best way to move people in cities’

STUDIES have found that cars are the least effective method to move people around the city, says Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) country director Yoga Adiwinarto from Indonesia.

Yoga said a report by National Association of City Transportation Officials in 2017 found that cars only moved between 600 and 1,600 people hourly over a three-metre wide space.
