FEEL prosperity in the air and in your bellies when dining at Royale Chulan Penang’s Sri Tanjung Cafe this Chinese New Year.

Its chefs have lined up bountiful feasts brimming with festive delicacies, including Salmon Yee Sang for diners to toss their way to auspiciousness.

Skip the hassle of hosting at home, and throw a memorable family gathering with the Fatt Choy reunion buffet dinner from 6.30pm to 10pm on Feb 4.

Priced at RM108 for adults and RM68 for children and seniors, it features starters like Lunar Crab Salad in Crispy Pie Tee, Orange and Beetroot Salad, Smoked Duck Breast with Scallion Egg Rolls, Assorted Terrines, Prosperity Kerabu Mango Jelly Fish and Seafood on Ice.

Have a bowl of Double-Boiled Black Chicken Soup before raiding the show-cooking stations for Roast Duck, Char Koay Teow, Curry Mee, Pasembur, Pandan Chicken and Otak-Otak.

Elsewhere, serving trays offer mains like Baked Black Soy Bean Seabass, Wok-Fried Prawns with Oriental Sauce, Stir-Fried Squid with Salted Egg, Grilled Salmon with Mandarin Orange Sauce and Grilled Minute Steak with Three Peppercorn.

For dessert, there are assorted Fatt Choy Cookies alongside Hot Longan with Snow Lotus, White Fungus with Red Dates, Yuanbao-shaped White and Dark Chocolates and Fruit Trifle Pudding.

On Feb 6, the second day of Chinese New Year, celebrate new beginnings with the Prosperity High Tea served from 12.30pm to 4pm.

Priced at RM68 for adults and RM38 for children and seniors, the high tea features an equally scrumptious line-up of festive treats and delicacies.

The Salmon Yee Sang is also available for dine-in or takeaways until Feb 15 priced at RM118 for a large plate (10 to 12 persons) or RM98 for a medium plate (six to eight persons).

One week’s advance booking is required.

Alternatively, treat family and friends to a private eight-course banquet with the tailor-made Season of Spring packages available till Feb 19.

Menus go at RM888 or RM998 per table of 10, inclusive of Salmon Yee Sang. A minimum booking of three tables is required.

Besides these, the hotel also has a Lion Dance Performance at the lobby from 10am on Feb 6, and live music at the Heritage Lounge from 8pm on Monday to Saturday.
