SEVERAL roads in Bukit Mertajam on the Penang mainland have been transformed into a fairyland of lights with bright red lanterns and decorations to mark Chinese New Year.
Event organising committee chairman Datuk Ong Kok Sun said some 3,500 lanterns were put up this year.
