OLABOLA The Musical returns with OlaBola Musical 2 in hopes of enthralling the crowd with more spectacular and extraordinary performances.

OlaBola Musical 2 is a production of Enfiniti (M) Sdn Bhd which will be staged at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur where the first OlaBola musical made its debut.

The show gained the title of being the biggest musical ever staged in Malaysia.

It is an adaptation of the 2016 OlaBola movie about the Harimau Malaya team which continued to train passionately despite its failure to reach the 1976 Olympics.

The story slowly unveils the challenges that each of the lead characters would face.

The return of OlaBola The Musical has a cast comprising Iedil Putra as Rahman, Brian Chan as tauke Chow Kwok Keong, Abimanyu Masilamani as Muthu, Luqman Hafidz as Ali, Altimet as Sergeant Ahmad, and Jian Wen as Ah Chai, to name a few.

A few new faces have also joined OlaBola Musical 2 consisting of Tony Eusoff as coach Harry Mountain, Hafeez Mikail as Eric Yong, and Nabila Huda who will be playing multiple roles.

“With this opportunity to re-stage the show, I decided to challenge my creative team to take the show to a whole new level,” she said

Istana Budaya general director Datuk Mohamed Juhari Shaarani said the musical had the highest ticket sales in Istana Budaya last year.

“Istana Budaya will once again experience the screaming fans of OlaBola,” he said.
