World Vision Malaysia is holding a photo exhibition featuring the organisation’s work at Gurney Plaza today and tomorrow. The photos, taken by photographer Chuan Looi, depict the lives of impoverished children and communities worldwide. There will also be handicraft sessions at the booth. Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (Mitra) will set up a booth at the Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Hilltop Temple in Waterfall Road and also at the Sri Subramaniya Swami Devasthanam Temple in Sungai Petani during the Thaipusam festival from today till Jan 22. The public can register for the e-Kasih programme at the 24-hour booth which will collect data concerning citizenship, education, employment and welfare of the community.
