Restaurant faces the music for violating regulations


The owner of a restaurant in Seri Alam being told to take down a Quranic text on display in the premises as it violated the Quranic Text Printing Act 1986.

PASIR GUDANG: A restaurant in Seri Alam here has been slapped with several compounds for violating workers’ safety and cleanliness guidelines.

Johor Baru Health Department issued seven compounds for multiple offences including failure to ensure its workers adhered to proper clothing guidelines as well as for allowing its workers to handle food with uncovered hair and uncut nails.
