IT WAS a thrilling day for both Abdul Haffiz Derahaian and wife Yusmizan Yusof who had queued up as early as 8am to choose their new apartment unit at the Residensi Suria Pantai Unit Selection Day.

The event was held at ICE Gallery @ Pantai Sentral Park, Kuala Lumpur. 

“My husband was born and raised here in Pantai Dalam, so we are excited to be able to purchase our first house at the place where he grew up.

“Apart from the affordable price, the location is very convenient as it is close to my in-laws and Kuala Lumpur city centre,” said Yusmizan who was at the event with her husband and third child.

Priced at RM275,000 per unit, Suria Pantai saw a take-up rate of 75% out of 896 units in total.

The three-room, two-bathroom Rumawip (Federal Territories Affordable Housing) layout measuring 810sq ft is fit for single working professionals, married couples and families.

With each unit, homeowners are entitled to one covered car park and will enjoy facilities including a swimming pool, playground, multi-purpose hall and gated security service.

IJM Land Bhd (Central Region) senior general manager Datuk Hoo Kim See said in a statement, “We believe every Malaysian has a right to quality homes and living environment positioned within reach of amenities as well as path of connectivity.”

He added that the 34-storey development is located 3km from MidValley and 5km from KL Sentral.

The SK Bangsar and SMK Seri Pantai schools are about 2km away from the high-rise apartment which is expected to be completed in 2022.

On top of that, Amona Development Sdn Bhd and IJM Land Bhd opened the Pantai Sentral Interchange, connecting the township to the New Pantai Expressway (NPE).

Located at Kilometre 11 of the NPE, the new interchange which comprises three ramps and two at-grade roads, connects Pantai Sentral Park directly to the NPE

and various key hubs and locations in the Klang Valley.

Only single individuals with a monthly income of less than RM10,000 and combined household incomes of no more than RM15,000 are eligible to purchase the units.

Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil who was present to officiate the event expressed his gratitude to the developers for supporting the government’s initiative to cater to the need for more affordable homes.
