NEW electric pedal-assisted bicycles were added to the Penang Island City Council’s (MBPP) cycling patrol unit (URB) to enforce traffic laws around George Town.

The electric bicycles equipped with advanced suspension systems and Shimano gear transmissions were unveiled at a launching near City Hall on Thursday.
