Penang to create network of parks linked to waterfront amenities

THE Penang government, in a move to make the island the greenest and liveable city in Asia, has announced the Penang Green Connectors project.

The ambitious project, part of Penang 2030, would include the creation of a 50km coastal park stretching from Tanjung Pinang to Batu Maung with a series of linear parks along existing rivers to connect the sea to the hills.
