THE Melaka government is taking steps to prevent cattle rustling from affecting the local livestock industry, including working with Australia on a smart technology to prevent thefts.
State Agriculture, Entrepreneur Development and Agro-based Committee chairman Norhizam Hassan Baktee said there was a need to come up with ways to protect farmers due to loss of livestock.
