ISKANDAR PUTERI: The state government is currently not renting out assets belonging to the Johor State Public Works Department (JKR) which are said to be unused and lying idle, as stated in the Auditor-General’s Report 2017.
Johor Works, Infrastructure and Transport Committee chairman Mazlan Bujang said the decision was made after taking into account the fact that the assets were still needed to carry out emergency works in the state like during landslides.
