SUNWAY Carnival Mall in Seberang Jaya, Penang, is decorated with a mock Christmas stocking mill called ‘Christmas Fun Factory’ for extra special holiday fun.

“Plump Christmas stockings filled with wonderful gifts are a symbol of safety and warmth.

“They convey good wishes to all visitors in the hope that they will be endowed with many happy returns,” said mall general manager Chow Heng Wah.

He said shoppers could look forward to Star Light redemptions when they spend at the mall.

To get the redemptions, shoppers have to spend RM400 (RM300 for HSBC credit card holders) in two receipts, subject to terms and conditions, and while stocks last.

“We want to offer a fun Christmas experience to shoppers, thus giving them a reason to come and celebrate at the mall.”

Chow was speaking at the launch of the Christmas Fun Factory at Sunway Carnival Mall recently.

State Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh was invited to launch the event.

Also present was Sunway Hotels of Georgetown and Seberang Jaya finance director Woo Hing Siang.

Chow said the festivities this year would attract many in the community who would be curious to experience a different cultural perspective.

To further enhance the festive mood is artificial snow sponsored by Huawei at the concourse area, falling down at selected times.

The snowfall will take place during weekends at 2pm and 8pm until Christmas Day.

Phee, in his address, praised Sunway Carnival Mall for celebrating all the major festivals of the year.
