Public want free bus service soon to overcome problems


The Sarawak government is proposing free public bus service to ease travel woes for rural folk.

MIRI: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) wants a free public bus service proposal by the state government implemented in this vast state soon.

The government is considering the proposal and Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Openg has indicated that the plan could be realised, said SUPP secretary-general Datuk Sebastian Ting.
