CHRISTMAS in many parts of the country is steeped in traditional and ceremonial practices, and this is evident at St Mark’s Church Butterworth on mainland Penang.
Members of the 133-year-old Anglican church would volunteer to help decorate the church, especially during the Christian month of Advent, which is from Dec 2 to Dec 24.
