THE school field of SK Sungai Penchala was abuzz with activity as residents of Kampung Sungai Penchala, Kuala Lumpur, gathered for a day of fun and awareness at the village’s family day programme.Some 10 government agencies, such as the police, Fire and Rescue Department, Social Welfare Department and Employees Provident Fund, had set up booths to educate villagers on the programmes and initiatives offered by them.

The one-day event was organised by Persatuan Anak Jati Penchala in collaboration with the Segambut parliamentary office.
