OVER 200 talented chess players converged on Red Rock Hotel in George Town, Penang, for the 10th Penang Heritage City International Chess Open.

Tournament director Tan Eng Seong of Penang Chess Association said the week-long tournament which ends on Monday will see a total 273 contestants vie for RM36,000 worth of cash prizes and medals.
