SHOE manufacturers are planning to construct a shoe academy in Ipoh, as an expansion of the Ipoh Shoe City project.

Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said the manufacturers had approached the state government to facilitate an 81ha land for the expansion.
