LET’S GET FAT! at Vouk Hotel Suites Penang!
Named after head chef Fat Fong, the Fat-bulous Buffet Dinner with free flow of wine and beer at C’est Si Bon Restaurant has been packing in the crowd every Friday and Saturday.
The lip-smacking spread features a well-rounded mix of local and international delicacies that are rife with flavours and textural contrasts. Be spoilt for choice with the extensive selection including sushi and sashimi, seafood on ice and grilled station.
Strikingly presented on a mini sampan, the seafood on ice showcases the bounty of the ocean with oysters, mussels, half-shell scallops and boiled prawns.
The grilled station sizzles with the aroma of chicken satay, chicken fillet, fish fillet, lamb, beef, jumbo sausages, squids, slipper lobsters and salmon being cooked to perfection.
Over at the live cooking section, the cook fervently dishes out the hotel’s locally acclaimed char koay teow while from the carving station are herb roasted chicken, beef striploin and lamb leg.
Adding to the variety are action stalls whipping up shawarma, waffle, pasta and noodle (Hokkien mee, curry mee and loh mee on a rotational basis).
More choices are from the chaffing dish featuring, amongst others, beef stew, seafood pot pie, lamb moussaka, sotong masak berempah, yam duck, foo yong egg, chicken marmite, and stir fried celery with pacific clam.
Of course not forgetting the varied salads, appetisers like salmon gravlax, Japanese unagi and butchery cold cut platter, as well as pumpkin or hot and sour soups.
Dessert is a wondrous delight of hot chocolate pudding with vanilla sauce, chocolate fountain with fruits and marshmallows, and an array of cakes, ice cream and seasonal fruits.
Served from 7pm to 10pm, the buffet is priced at RM98 nett including alcohol or RM68 nett excluding alcohol for adults, and RM58 nett for children (aged four to 11 years) and senior citizens (65 years and above).
Patrons would also be serenaded by the acoustic performance of Akustika Trios.
