JOHOR BARU: Developer Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) has officially launched its latest project at Meridin East township, the Hazel, with a total gross development value (GDV) of RM5bil.
Measuring 20’ by 70’ and with a built-up area of 1,964 square feet, Hazel offers residents a spacious layout with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is optimised for multi-generational living.
Situated in a well-planned sustainable township and gated and guarded community, Hazel is priced from RM487,000, meeting the market demand for quality homes with affordable pricing.
Mah Sing chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang said they were confident Hazel would be well-received by home buyers because it offers them a superb combination of distinguished design, contemporary concept, and comfortable spacious layout at an affordable price.
“The strong take-up rate of our previous projects in Meridin East also acts as a credible testament towards our products.
“Located inside our very own sustainable township, buyers will be able to enjoy greater interaction with other residents within the community with various enhanced facilities that we put in place,” he said.
He said the 531ha Meridin East township was Mah Sing’s largest township by size, taking shape into a self-sustaining integrated township.
Ho said about 40% of Meridin East would encompass lush green spaces and that the group plans to plant several thousand trees around the Mulberry Lake to preserve and enhance its natural flora and fauna.
“The township has also allocated 44ha to develop various activities benefitting the residents, including a 16.6km cycling and jogging path to encourage exercise and adopt a healthy life,” he said.
Situated in Pasir Gudang, homes in Meridin East are continuing to receive strong interest due to its strategic location close to the booming Pasir Gudang industrial hub and Tanjung Langsat Industrial Park.
It is also within driving distance to the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex.
Residents of Meridin East and the surrounding communities are set to benefit from Mah Sing’s initiative to upgrade roads around the township.
The group is building a connecting road into the Tanjung Langsat – Cahaya Baru toll connecting highway, which forms part of the Senai Desaru Expressway.
In addition, work has already begun to widen Jalan Kong Kong into a 40m, four-lane thoroughfare. Both road infrastructure improvements are targeted to be completed by 2020.
Meridin East is also close to medical facilities such as KPJ Specialist Hospital Pasir Gudang (12km) and Regency Specialist Hospital (15km), shopping conveniences such as Econsave (8km), Tesco Seri Alam (15km), Aeon Permas Jaya (23km), Ikea Tebrau (30km) and Johor Premium Outlets (53km) as well as 51km to the Senai Airport.
