DECADES ago, Kelantan was well-known for its quality silver craft such as brooches, rings, and kitchenware. However, over the years, the demand has significantly declined.
According to Yayasan Hasanah trustee and managing director Shahira Ahmed Bazari, the number of master silver craftsmen in Kelantan today is fewer than 40, compared to some 200 in the 1990s.
