Reflecting on beauty of Malaysian mosques

IN PURSUIT of capturing the beauty of mosques in Malaysia through paintings, the Association of Voices of Peace, Conscience and Reason embarked on its first foray into art.

Its president Datuk Halimah Mohd Said, a self-taught amateur artist, will be among the 23 artists — 14 professionals and nine amateurs – who will have their painting showcased at the “Inspiration-Imagination-Interpretation: Mosques of Malaysia” art exhibition to be held at Islamic Arts Museum from Nov 29 to Dec 11.
