Easy toll payment for drivers


PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will belaunching its Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) toll payment system at four toll plazas starting on Dec 15.

The toll plazas are at Penang Bridge, Lunas, Kubang Semang on the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway and Jitra on the North-South Expressway.

PLUS managing director Datuk Azman Ismail said the system aimed to increase the options for toll users and provide flexibility for drivers to pay using their credit and debit cards.

“Malaysian drivers who take part in the public pilot programme at the four toll plazas will also be given a free PLUS RFID tag starting from Dec 15,” said Azman.
