MELAKA: The state government will help local fishermen who lost their livelihood due to marine reclamation work along the state’s littoral zone and erratic weather patterns to venture into agribusiness.
State Agriculture, Entrepreneur Development and Agro-based Committee chairman Norhizam Hassan Baktee said the alternative sources of income could be yielded through cultivating cockles and shrimps using cage-farming methods.
