Melaka to upgrade museums to boost tourism

MELAKA: The state government will focus on upgrading 23 museums in the state to boost the tourism sector.

State Heritage and Culture Com­mittee chairman Datuk Muhammad Jailani Khamis said only three museums, namely Stadthuys Museum and Samudera Maritime Museum in Banda Hilir as well as Submarine Museum in Klebang, were found to be generating about RM200,000 up to October.
