A CARING and compassionate community can help reduce overpopulation of stray animals by catching the strays to spay or neuter them, as well as monitor the neutered animals shortly afterwards.

“Do not feed stray animals unless you know you can catch them to be spayed/ neutered, or re-homed. Otherwise you are contributing to the stray problem,” said Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Selangor chairman Christine Chin.
