More CCTVs soon to capture facial features in high definition

WITH 767 CCTVs in place and about 150 more to come by year end, Penang island will soon be well equipped with more ‘eyes’ to monitor its people.

The new cameras will record in high definition (HD) resolution and about 10 to 15 of them installed in various areas will have face recognition features.
