FIFTEEN families from several parts of Meru, Klang, were evacuated to a flood relief centre at SMK Meru after their homes were hit by flash floods on Sunday.
A Smart Selangor Command Centre spokesman said the flood was caused by heavy rain that started early in the afternoon on Sunday and not because of the bunds giving way as reported.
