SMART Reader Worldwide has launched its Smart Student Management System and Smart Kinder-Tech, which will be made part of the Smart Reader Kids educational programmes at its 300 centres nationwide.
These systems feature tech-based applications that will revolutionise not only the learning environment but the entire schooling ecosystem, including the students’ well-being, safety and progress in school.
Smart Kinder-Tech is an interactive e-learning tool for a more conducive and stimulating classroom, whereas the Smart Student Management System is a one-stop platform for parents to access all information about their children — including attendance, activities and achievement.
The launch was attended by Kuala Lumpur Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department deputy head ACP Mohd Ariff Hanuddin, Smart Reader Worldwide chief executive officer Datuk Seri Dr Richard Ong, Smart Reader Worldwide group executive director Datuk Dr K.H. Wang, Smart Reader Worldwide senior executives and officers from the Kuala Lumpur Social Welfare Department.
Young talents from various Smart Reader Kids centres entertained the guests with multicultural performances, which was followed by a demonstration of both systems through videos and sketches.
ACP Mohd Ariff said technology and the Internet could pose risks to children, but if used correctly, they have the potential to create interactive and engaging educational lessons.
Smart Reader Worldwide executive director Kevan Ong said the new systems provided a holistic focus on the development of children’s cognitive, motor, emotional and social skills.
Smart Reader Kids centres nationwide will hold its open day on Dec 1, from 2pm to 6pm. Parents are welcome to visit the centres to learn more about its international award-winning programmes, facilities and enrolment.
