Special panel to start probe into Bukit Kukus landslide next week


A SPECIAL committee, set up by the Penang state government, will begin its investigation into the cause of the landslide at the Bukit Kukus paired road project site in Paya Terubong on Nov 8.

Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Ahmad Zakiyuddin Abdul Rahman, who is chairman of the special committee, said in a statement that the probe will start with the Penang Island City Council (MBPP), project engineers, independent checking engineers, contractors and security personnel of theproject.
