Travel service standards set higher

THE Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) has collaborated with the Human Resources Ministry’s Department of Skills Development (JPK) in compiling a comprehensive Occu-pational Framework (OF) handbook for the travel industry, which is set to reflect professionalism among its players.

MATTA has been appointed by the JPK as an Industry Lead Body (ILB) for the travel sector to oversee the overall human capital development of the travel industry, with regards to skills training.
