SIBU: A total of 246 places and 26 schools in Sibu Division have been identified as flood prone areas.
Of the 246 flood prone areas, 179 are in Sibu, followed by Selangau 61 and Kanowit with 17. As for schools, nine of them are in Sibu, six in Selangau and 11 in Kanowit.
