MIRI: Projects to link rural and urban areas will be taken over by the state government due to the lack of support and funding from the Federal Government.

Among the Sarawak government’s main agenda to propel development in the state through rural connectivity is the Long Lama bridge that the state government has been supporting since its approval by the late chief minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem, said Sarawak Coastal Road Assistant Minister Datuk Julaihi Narawi.
