TOUCH ‘n Go eWallet and TGV Cinemas is co-presenting “We Will Rock You!” – a live concert celebration that pays tribute to the music of Queen, a trailblazing musical tour de force that endures as Britain’s most beloved pioneering rock band of the 1980s.

The concert will be held at two venues in the Klang Valley, and both will showcase different interpretations of Queen’s music.

The first will take place on Nov 3 at Soju Sunway, said to be equipped with the largest LED screen in the country and world-class sound system.

The concert will transport fans on a musical and visual journey of a lifetime, with attendees experiencing live renditions of Queen’s biggest hits – think the thumping bassline of Under Pressure to the melodic beats of Don’t Stop Me Now, with a sprinkling of the genius that is Bohemian Rhapsody.

Malaysian musicians Muzza, Vijay David, Jazper Nimoi, Jezzriq, Galang, Aizad and Broadway Academy Choir will be on hand to make this a night to remember.

The second event will take a more artistic and theatrical approach on Nov 9 and 10 at Russell’s TTDI in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, which was found by Russell Curtis.

Muzza will be bringing his talents to the fore at the event in Soju Sunway on Nov 3.

This time around, the showcase is written and produced by Russell, who co-wrote and co-produced Kau Ilhamku in 2015.

“We Will Rock You” is the tale of a boy who grew to be one of the fiercest live performers the world has ever known.

The entertainers for the night will be an 11-piece superband comprising some of Malaysia’s finest live entertainers, including Russell himself, Jazper Nimoi, Chanelle Guerzo, Puteh Piaff, Tok Khon, Wan Gigi, David Yee, Sudin Nidus, Khairul Anuar, Imran Aiman and Roger Chee.

“It is part of our continuous effort in providing a total experience for our patrons. What was once considered ‘premium’ is now considered today’s ‘standard’ as we continuously strive to make excellence the norm.

“It is not just about the movies at TGV – sports, music and comedy have all found a new home with us. The next step is to bring premium out-of-home entertainment experiences such as ‘We Will Rock You!’ to Malaysia,” said TGV marketing and operations general manager Kabir Ariff Sultan.

“These two events are sure to provide an experience like no other and we are thrilled to bring the cashless experience to TGV Cinemas through our Touch ‘n Go eWallet,” TNG Digital Sdn Bhd CMO Mark Tan.

Tickets for the events are priced at RM70. Customers who pay for their tickets at TGV KLCC, TGV 1 Utama, TGV Sunway Pyramid and TGV Jaya Shopping Centre will only need to pay RM60 until Oct 28.
