DORAEMON superfan and university debater Pavithra Panir Selvam from Negri Sembilan beat 12 finalists to be crowned Miss MalaysiaIndian 2018.

She won the hearts of the judges and audience when she named Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as the world leader she would most like to meet as he had returned to lead the country.
