THE Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Award, given out by the Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) to recognise organisations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions towards ending the AIDS epidemic in Malaysia, is making a comeback this Dec 16 after a six-year hiatus.

Malaysian AIDS Council president Bakhtiar Talhah announced this during a press conference, where it was also announced that the Red Ribbon Gala, during which the award would be given out, would also be renamed the “Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Award Gala Dinner”.
