MELAKA: Oil palm smallholders and farmers in the country have been asked to use the latest technology to increase productivity while maintaining quality.

Primary Industries deputy Minister Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin said the use of state-of-the-art technology could reduce dependency on labour while helping farmers to save on their investment in the long run.
