A SURVEY conducted by the Health Ministry last year found that 18.5% of the secondary school students in Penang were suffering from depression.

Penang Health director Datuk Dr Wan Mansor Hamzah said the survey also showed that 9.5% of the students had planned to commit suicide, while another 6% had attempted suicide.
