Association desperately appealing for government aid

KANOWIT: The Ex-Police Association of Malaysia, Kanowit Branch, is appealing to the state and Federal governments to provide monthly financial assistance to former policemen like border scouts who are not eligible for monthly pension.

Its chairman, Liew Tubow in saying this at the opening of the association’s branch 16th annual general meeting, said they have brought the matter up many times to the state and national bodies but have yet to receive any feedback.
